New Year New Learning

Hope everyone enjoyed their unexpected "snow-cation" last week. I'm glad the kids are back a ready for some fun. And Chase is very glad his friends are back and that the big kids have gone back to school.

Here are a few pictures from our Christmas fun.











So far this month we have worked on:
*cutting with scissors (we made confetti and threw it up in the air to celebrate the new year)
*made playdoh w/ glitter
*Have been reading tons and tons of books on snow...and look what happened!
*played with shaving cream, traced letters and shaped in it
*And have been singing new songs..."Mr. Sun", Raindrops, and Little Snowman

We will begin talking about seasonal changes, how different animals survive in the winter, and begin our imagination lessons.
